File Setup Guidelines

Crisp prints start with clean files. Follow these essentials for fast, accurate proofs and production.

Vector (preferred): .AI, .EPS, or press-ready .PDF. Vectors scale infinitely with no quality loss.
Raster: .PSD, .JPG, .PNG, or .TIF at 300 DPI at final print size to avoid blur/pixelation.

Color mode

Build in CMYK. RGB files are converted and may shift slightly.

Sizing

Size your art to the ordered dimensions and include the required bleed.

Fonts

Convert all text to outlines. For legibility, keep type above 5 pt.

Bleed: extend artwork 1/8" (0.125") past the cutline on all sides to prevent white edges.
Safe area: keep important elements at least 1/16" (0.0625") inside the cutline. For stickers under 0.75" × 0.75", use a 1/8" margin.
Cutline: custom shapes need rounded corners, minimum 0.04" radius. In Illustrator, set the cutline as a 0.5 pt stroke in 100% magenta on its own layer.

Clear and Reflective Holo stickers: define opaque vs. transparent areas with a dedicated white-ink backup layer in your file.
Sticker sheets: keep at least 1/16" between individual sticker cutlines and 1/8" from the sheet edge.

Tip: Always name your White Ink spot color clearly and place it on its own layer.
